  4. Request for Plant Establishment Exemption from Watering Restrictions

    *To be used for requesting a 90 calendar day exemption from the landscape irrigation watering restrictions currently in place. Exemption request will not be considered if the City is under Emergency Drought Conditions.

By clicking this check box the property owner agrees that if they are approved to water their newly planted landscape as needed for 90 calendar days, they will not be wasteful in their application of water. Property owner agrees to ensure proper watering schedule and maintenance of the irrigation system to avoid water running in the gutter from broken sprinklers, malfunctioning irrigation or other conditions that would result in water waste. Property owner agrees that should they be wasteful in their application of water they may be notified of this condition and ultimately may be fined by the City of Modesto Water Division. The City of Modesto has the right to change, alter or modify the terms of this exemption at any time and for any reason. The permit must be made available to City of Modesto staff upon request.*
