Project Summary

Purchase and installation of Travel Time Bluetooth devices throughout the City at signalized intersections.

Project Description

The Travel Time Bluetooth devices detect Media Access Control (MAC) address in vehicles along corridors and calculate the actual travel time. The devices will help the Traffic Engineering Division to coordinate the signal timing more efficiently.  They will also be able to publish the travel times to a City Website and Automated Display billboards in the future.
