This year the City of Modesto, in collaboration with Stanislaus County will be collecting eyeglasses in all conditions for people in need all over the world. We are partnering with the non-profit organization Lions In Sight who will refurbish the eyeglasses and distribute them to various charities and give the gift of better sight to so many people.
Please take time to gather your eyeglasses and bring to any one of our many collection sites located in Modesto and Stanislaus County. Your contributions can truly make a difference! Look for donation cans at each floor of 1010 10th Street in downtown Modesto and local supporting businesses.
