At a March 27 ceremony of the WateReuse California Board of Directors, the City of Modesto was awarded the Recycled Water Agency of the Year.
Together with partners City of Turlock and Del Puerto Water District, Modesto’s North Valley Regional Recycled Water Project was recognized for its unique conveyance of treated tertiary water from the city’s Jennings Treatment Facilities to the Delta-Mendota Canal for use by irrigation customers of the Del Puerto Water District.
On-hand to receive the award at the 2018 WateReuse California Annual Conference in Monterey, CA was Will Wong, City of Modesto Director of Utilities.
