1. How do I request repairs to my containers?

Contact your hauler directly to request a lid replacement or can repair at no charge. If you are not sure who your hauler is, view the Service Area Map online.

2. How do I request a replacement of a damaged container?

Contact your hauler directly to have a can replaced. There may be a fee associated with this service. If you are not sure who your hauler is, view the Service Area Map online.

3. What do I do if my container is stolen?

If your container has been stolen, please follow the following steps: 

1. Contact your hauler company to verify the can was not removed for any reason. 
2. If not, then please contact Modesto Police Department filing a non-emergency police report. 
3. Contact your hauler with the police report number and a new can will be delivered to you at no charge.

4. If my container(s) are removed due to code enforcement actions, what do I need to do to get it back?

If your container(s) were removed for code enforcement action, please contact the Solid Waste or call 209-577-5493.

5. When is my Solid Waste pick-up day?

You must contact your hauler to obtain the garbage schedule for your address. Visit our Hauler Services web page for more information.

6. What are Solid Waste collection Hours?

Solid Waste collection hours are from 6 AM to 6 PM in residential areas. Please visit our Hauler Services web page to view the holiday schedule.
