1. Do you have rental rates for non-profit facility users?

Yes, we offer a reduced rental rate for certain non-profit organizations. To receive the non-profit rate you must provide a 501(c)3 or 504(c)4 letter from the IRS.

2. Can I bring in an outside caterer or my own food and beverage if I am renting event space at the Modesto Centre Plaza?

The Doubletree Hotel is the exclusive caterer for events held at the Modesto Centre Plaza. Clients are not permitted to bring in their own food or beverage from any outside caterer or restaurant.

3. Do I need insurance for my event?

Most events require insurance. However, there are exceptions depending on the room being rented and event attendance. Please contact an Events Coordinator at 209-577-6444 with your specific event details.

4. Does the Modesto Centre Plaza offer Audio Visual Equipment/Audio Visual Services?

5. What kind of payments do you accept for room rental deposits?

The Modesto Centre Plaza accepts payments in the form of:

6. How can I be an exhibitor at an expo being held at the Modesto Centre Plaza?

7. How do I get to the Modesto Centre Plaza? Where should I enter?

The Modesto Centre Plaza is located in downtown Modesto, adjacent to the 15-story Doubletree Hotel. The main entrance to the Modesto Centre Plaza is at the intersection of 10th and K Streets, across from Brenden Theatres.


From Highway 99 - Northbound:
Take Central Modesto exit. The off-ramp merges into Sixth Street.
Stay on Sixth Street for 5 blocks.
Turn right on K Street. Go 4 blocks to entrance of the Modesto Centre Plaza (10th and K
Streets).


From Highway 99 - Southbound:
Take Maze Boulevard exit.
At the top of the off-ramp is a signal light. Go one block further and turn left on K Street.
Go 5 blocks to the Centre Plaza entrance (10th and K Streets).

8. Where should I park to attend an event at the Modesto Centre Plaza?

The nearest metered parking lot is adjacent to the Modesto Centre Plaza, located on 11th Street, between K & L Streets. Additionally there are two parking garages within one block of the Modesto Centre Plaza. These garages are located at the intersections of 9th & L Streets and 11th & K Streets.

9. How can I reach a Facilitator or an attendee of an event happening at the Modesto Centre Plaza?

During business hours contact our Administrative Office at 209-577-6444. Our staff will take a completed message to the room location and place it at the registration desk or other designated area. During non-business hours, please call 209-652-7141.

10. How do I start the process of booking an event at the Modesto Centre Plaza?

Contact our Administrative Office at 209-577-6444. You will be asked to provide the date and time of your event, type of event and estimated attendance. A site tour can be scheduled with an Events Coordinator upon request.

11. Where is the Modesto Centre Plaza box office located? And what are the hours?

The box office is located west of the main entrance, at the intersection of 10th & K Streets. The box office is only open on the day of the ticketed event. Please note that we only sell tickets for events being hosted at Modesto Centre Plaza. Please contact our Administrative Office at 209-577-6444 for specific box office hours for each ticketed event and for information on additional locations to purchase tickets.
