[ARCHIVED] Fatal Shooting Leaves One Dead

At about 11:30 p.m. last night, dispatchers received a 9-1-1 call regarding a shooting in the Regal Cinema parking lot on McHenry Avenue.  When emergency personnel arrived, they found two witnesses providing CPR to a 21-year-old man.  Medical staff rushed the victim to a nearby hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.  

The early investigation suggests the victim was amongst a group of individuals in the parking lot when the shooting took place.  A motive for the shooting, as well as suspect(s) involved, is still under investigation.
