Modesto Parks and Recreation and Future Stars 2000's are offering Saturday tennis lessons and weekday camps for youth taught in a fun and positive atmosphere. Come and learn the fundamentals of tennis including strokes, serving, volleys, strategy, and rules and etiquette of this fun game for a lifetime. Lessons taught at Downey Park by experienced instructors.
Lessons are taught over four consecutive Saturdays. Next lesson begins Saturday, June 4th.
Camps are taught over four consecutive days, Monday through Thursday. Next camp begins Monday, June 6th.
Classes offered are:
Tiny Tots (4-7 yrs) 9am-9:50am $35
Pre-Academy (8-17 yrs) 10am-11am $50
Jr. Excellence (10-17 yrs) 11am-12pm $50
Tennis shoes and own racquet required. 21" is best for tiny tots. 25" for 8-10 year olds. 27" for teens. May be purchased at local sporting goods stores or from instructors. Let us know if you will need a racquet. Look forward to seeing you.
