The City of Modesto Parks, Recreation and Neighborhoods Department is now recruiting volunteers for the Annual Celebration of Lights Holiday Parade on December 2, 2017 and the Annual Spirit of Giving 5K Fun Run on December 9, 2017 and we need your help! Both events would not be possible without the help of volunteers. Please see below details on these fun, exciting events.
Celebration of Lights Holiday Parade- Saturday December 2, 2017
- Volunteer duties include manning barricades, course monitoring, volunteer check-in, V.I.P. section, float staging, etc.
- Volunteer times: Shift 1: 2:00PM-8:00PM or Shift 2: 4:00PM-8:00PM
Spirit of Giving 5K Run/Walk- December 9, 2017
- Volunteer duties include manning barricades, course monitoring, packet pickup, volunteer check-in etc..
- Volunteer Time: 7:00AM-11:00AM
