The work will begin on September 19, 2017, and should be completed by October 4, 2017.
Slurry seal is a mixture of asphalt emulsion, sand and rock, which applied to the street surface at an average of 1/4 inch thickness. Slurry seal is a quick and economical maintenance strategy that provides protection from water penetration and provides a new skid resistant surface. Slurry sealing extends the life of a street by five to seven years.
