Traffic Control Measures in relatively close proximity to a construction site.

Project:

Upgrade Traffic Signals 2013

Status:

Work is in progress.

Impact:

Minor traffic control to shoulder closures periodically. Possible lane closures. Lights to be on flash or off periodically during the switch over.

  • B Street & 9th Street
  • 7th Street & G Street, H Street & I Street

Motorists are advised to drive slowly with caution and use alternate routes when possible.


Project:

Pelandale Avenue Pavement Rehabilitation

Status:

Work is in progress. Project is expected to be completed by the end of October 2020.

Impact:

Construction signs will be in place with lane closures during construction hours on:

  • Pelandale Avenue from Sisk Road to Honey Creek Road

Motorists are advised to drive slowly with caution and use alternate routes when possible.


Project:

State Route 132 West Freeway Expressway Phase 1 Project

Status:

Work is in progress.

Impact:

Short 5-minute full closures of Emerald Avenue between Kansas Avenue and Loletta Avenue expected to be completed by Monday, August 24th. Traffic will be stopped momentarily by flaggers while false work components for the 132 over crossing will be lifted overhead into place by a crane.

Tully Road Pavement Rehabilitation Project

Status:

Work is in progress. Project is expected to be completed by the end of October 2020.

Impact:

Construction signs will be in place for floating lane closures during working hours on:

  • Tully Road from Ronald Avenue to Yale Avenue

Motorists are advised to drive slowly with caution and use alternate routes when possible.


Project:

North Trunk Sewer

Status:

Work is in progress. Project is expected to be completed by the end of November 2020.

Impact:

Construction signs will be in place for floating lane closures during working hours on:

  • Tully Road between Bangs Avenue and Pelandale Avenue
  • Road closure on Bangs Avenue between Carver Avenue and Tully Road

Motorists are advised to drive slowly with caution and use alternate routes when possible.


Project:

McHenry Avenue & Stewart Road

Status:

Work is in progress. Project is expected to be completed by the end of September 2020.

Impact:

Minor traffic control to lane closures periodically on McHenry shifting traffic by construction.

Periodic full road closure on Stewart Road at McHenry diverting traffic to an alternate route.

  • McHenry Avenue and Stewart Road

Motorists are advised to drive slowly with caution and use alternate routes when possible.


Project:

PG&E Utility Work

Status:

Work is in progress. Project is expected to be completed by the end of September 2020.

Impact:

Construction signs will be in place for lane shift during working hours on:

  • Coffee Road/Claratina Avenue

Motorists are advised to drive slowly with caution and use alternate routes when possible.


Project:

Amtrak Station

Status:

Work is in progress. Project is expected to be completed by the end of October 2020.

Impact:

Construction signs will be in place. Heavy equipment moving in and out of the area.

Motorists are advised to drive slowly with caution and use alternate routes when possible.

Status:

Work is in progress. Project is expected to be completed by the end of September 2020.

Impact:

Construction signs will be in place for lane shift during working hours on:

  • Coffee Road/Claratina Avenue lane shift west of roundabout
  • Bangs Avenue - closed daily between Dale Road & Prescott Road

Motorists are advised to drive slowly with caution and use alternate routes when possible.


Project:

Spencer Avenue Neighborhood Strengthen & Replace Water Mains

Status:

Work is in progress. Project is expected to be completed by the end of November 2020.

Impact:

Minor traffic control to shoulder closures periodically.

  • Spencer Avenue from Maze Boulevard to California Avenue
  • Truman Avenue from Spencer Avenue to Briggs Ditch Street
  • Marshall Avenue between Truman Avenue and California Avenue
  • Spruce Street from Martin Luther King Drive to Briggs Ditch Street
  • Vine Street from Martin Luther King Drive to Briggs Ditch Street
  • Motorists are advised to drive slowly with caution and use alternate routes when possible.

Coffee Road Pavement Rehabilitation Project

Status:

Work is in progress. Project is expected to be completed by the end of October 2020.

Impact:

Traffic control on the following streets:

  • Coffee Road from Norwegian Avenue to Sylvan Avenue
  • Coffee Road and Claratina Avenue Intersection to Mable Avenue
