Modesto Courthouse Redevelopment Community Workshop

The City of Modesto will host a second community engagement workshop on the redevelopment of the Downtown Courthouse. Building on the first session, this meeting will review community feedback and ensure the proposed plans align with both public priorities and the Downtown Master Plan. Located in the heart of downtown, the Courthouse site is envisioned as expanded green space along I Street, preserved historic features, and a transformed southern block with mixed-use buildings and welcoming public areas, creating a vibrant destination for all.

We need your feedback!

The upcoming workshop will build on our first community session by reviewing the feedback we’ve received and discussing how it aligns with the City’s vision for Downtown redevelopment under the Master Plan. Attendees will have the opportunity to see how their input is shaping the project, confirm shared priorities, and help refine the direction moving forward. The goal is to ensure the redevelopment reflects community needs while advancing our long-term vision for a vibrant, connected Downtown.
