Welcome our new Fire Fighter recruits! January 19th was day one of MCS Joint Fire Academy in which the new firefighters have a 12-week academy ahead of them. While attending the academy they will be trained and tested in many areas to prepare them to be a Modesto Firefighter.

CITY RECEIVES $2.9 MILLION GRANT

The City has received a $2.9 Million grant to fund the Tuolumne River Regional Park Trail Project. City Staff is very excited to announce this grant award and to be one of only 19 projects in the state to be recommended for funding, and to also be one of the largest projects funded. Read Full Article
