The number of records processed is assessed by a global count by year of total records processed by type of record.  Note: Only partial reporting available for 2016. 

Metric Definition*

The number of records that are requested and processed by the City Clerk in partnership with various divisions and departments.


Ability to track and provide public records promotes effective and efficient government. Public records support accountability, fairness, equity and justice.

Impact on Performance*

This metric is an important part of compliance with state and federal law and demonstrates the City's ability to comply with open democracy requirements.
