PROJECT:
Stanislaus Foods Road Closure
STATUS:
Closure began Tuesday, July 16, 2013 and extends through October 13, 2013.
IMPACT:
11th Street will be closed from D Street to Morton Boulevard.  B Street will be closed from 10th Street to Morton Boulevard.  Detours will be in place for alternate access.  Motorists are requested to travel slowly through detour areas, and if possible find alternate routes.

PROJECT:
Asphalt Repairs - Claus Road between Briggsmore Avenue & Sylvan Avenue
STATUS:
Work is in progress. Project completion is expected for August 8, 2013.
IMPACT:
One-way traffic controls with flagging will be in place with narrow lanes. Drivers should expect delays. Motorists are requested to travel slowly through the work zone and use alternate routes when possible

PROJECT:
Sylvan Avenue and Litt Road Improvements
STATUS:
Work is in progress. Project completion is expected for late-August 2013.
IMPACT:
WESTBOUND: Sylvan Avenue traffic is redirected to the north side of Sylvan Avenue from Claus Road to Millbrook Avenue.
EASTBOUND: Sylvan Avenue is closed from Millbrook Avenue to Summer Drive.  The round-a-bout at Millbrook Avenue and Sylvan Avenue will remain open.
BOTH DIRECTIONS: Litt Road south of Sylvan Avenue will not be accessible to traffic from Sylvan Avenue.  Detours will be in place for alternate access. Motorists are requested to travel slowly through the work zone and use alternate routes when possible.
Note: Litt Road north of Sylvan Avenue to Plainview Road will remain closed until end of August 2013.

PROJECT:
Carpenter Road Bridge Seismic Retrofit
STATUS:
Work is in progress. Project completion is expected for November 2013.
IMPACT:
Drivers should expect delays. Motorists are requested to travel slowly through the work zone and use alternate routes when possible. Oversized and Wide Load Vehicles should use alternate routes.

Sanitary Sewer Collection System Replacement
STATUS:
Work is in progress. Project completion is expected for late-August 2013.
IMPACT:
Work is suspended.

Gas Main Work by PG&E
STATUS:
Work is in progress. Project completion is expected for mid-August 2013.
IMPACT:
Dale Road from Bangs Avenue to Standiford Avenue and Sisk Road at Rumble Road will be restricted to alternating, one-way traffic control with flaggers and shoulder work. Daytime work will be Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Nighttime work will be Monday through Friday, 8:30 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. Drivers should expect to use alternate routes when possible to avoid delays. Electronic message board signs are in place to alert drivers of the upcoming road work. For further information about this work contact PG&E directly at (559) 317-8857.

Safety Project by PG&E
STATUS:
Work is in progress. Project completion is expected by end of August 2013.
IMPACT:
AREA 1: Bangs Avenue from Dale Road to McHenry Avenue will be restricted with 24 hour traffic control and shoulder work.  Daytime work will be Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.  Nighttime work will be Monday through Friday, 8:30 p.m. to 5:30 a.m.
AREA 2: McHenry Avenue from Claratina Avenue to Bangs Avenue will be restricted to one lane traffic each way.  Westbound Claratina Avenue east of McHenry Avenue will be closed intermittently. Nighttime work will be Monday through Friday, 8:30 p.m. to 5:30 a.m.
Motorists are advised to proceed with caution and pay attention to signage. Drivers should expect to use alternate routes when possible to avoid delays. Electronic message board signs are in place to alert drivers of the upcoming road work. For further information about this work contact PG&E directly at (559) 317-8857.

PROJECT:
Street Improvements East El Vista Elementary School
STATUS:
Work is in progress. Project completion is expected for mid-August 2013.
IMPACT:
Work will be ongoing with traffic controls, flaggers and restrictions. Contractor is working at Colfax Avenue, Bellamy Street, Roble Avenue, Viola Street and Trask Lane. Work will continue for approximately three (3) more weeks. Motorists are requested to travel slowly through the work zone and use alternate routes when possible.

PROJECT:
CVIN Fiber Optic Underground Placement Project
STATUS:
Work is in progress in multiple areas. Project completion is expected for end of August 2013.
IMPACT:
AREA 1: Southbound College Avenue from Orangeburg Avenue to Needham Avenue and westbound Needham Avenue from McHenry Avenue to College Avenue.
AREA 2: H Street from 18th Street to 11th Street and 11th Street from Needham Avenue to H Street.
AREA 3: La Loma Avenue from James Street to Miller Avenue.
AREA 4: Eastbound Orangeburg Avenue from College Avenue to Martin Road.
Traffic will be restricted to one lane traffic and shoulder work. Work will be Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Motorists are advised to proceed with caution and pay attention to signage. Drivers should expect to use alternate routes when possible to avoid delays.
