Cap Damrell

Grade: Graduated
School: Modesto High

It’s no wonder that Cap Damrell’s nominating teacher at Modesto High School calls him “the best of the best.” Not only is Cap a brilliant scholar and a champion athlete, he is also a tireless volunteer who has donated hundreds and hundreds of hours to many charitable causes.

Cap is a full International Baccalaureate student who received the prestigious IB diploma from Modesto High School. He was also 1st Team All-Conference in water polo and a league champion in swimming. What stands out most about Cap is that he is a natural born leader who knows how to bring out the best in his teammates and classmates. Under Cap’s leadership of the club Project Hope, he was instrumental in raising over $10,000 to build a health clinic in Haiti. Cap is a member of Team Hydro, a charity that fundraises for Hydrocephocephalitis, a condition that his sister suffers from.

Cap was also the winner of Modesto High’s prestigious Panther Award and is attending Santa Clara University where he is currently studying business. Cap Damrell is one of those teens that possess all the best qualities we want from our youth. We are proud to call him one of this year’s Top Teens.
