  3. California Dental Association Foundation - Free Dental Clinic

    California Dental Association Cares is a two-day clinic that provides dental services at no cost to people who have difficulty accessing dental care, including uninsured, underinsured or unemployed adults and children of any age. Identification is NOT required, and interpreters are on site to assist people who do not speak English. Dental and health professionals donate their skills to provide cleanings, fillings, extractions, oral health education, assistance finding ongoing care and, on a limited basis, temporary partial dentures, dentures and root canals on front teeth. A parent or guardian must accompany children younger than age 18. Uncontrolled blood pressure or diabetes may prevent you from receiving dental care. Take medications as prescribed and bring a complete prescription list. Do not wait for CDA Cares to seek care for dental pain. If pain is severe and accompanied by fever or swelling, call a dentist right away or go to an emergency room.

  1. Modesto RecFest

    Bring your bikes, kites, fishing poles, and/or canoes – or use ours – and join in the fun! All activities will have two options: a guided tour or training at a specific time and meeting place, as well as an on-going self-guided options. Details about each activity will be available at the registration table. Snacks provided. Picnic lunches encouraged. Event entrance, parking, registration and general information will be located at Beard Brook Park at South Morton Blvd and 11th Street. All participants must register before entering the park and engaging in recreational activities whether guided or self-guided.
