What is one of your favorite or most significant memories? Why?
As a child, immigrating to the United states from a small pueblo in midland Mexico during Christmas time. Coming from a place without electricity, running water, and the comforts of a developed country to a magical world of lights, color, diversity, traffic, crowds, electricity, pavement, and so much more than I had ever experienced. These first memories of my life shaped how I live each day in complete appreciation and gratitude.

Spend – at minimum – one week completely off the grid, living off the land, with family or friends. This encourages self-reliance, helps you get back to basic communication and human needs, cultivates an appreciation and connection to nature, and offers an opportunity to unwind, de-stress, and disconnect from the hassles of work, school, and society.
What motivates you most to get out of bed each morning?
The people that surround me every day. My co-workers during the week, and family and friends on the weekends.
What makes you laugh the most? Why?
Alexander, my three year old nephew. He comes up with the funniest things. He is witty, clever and too smart for his own good. A natural born comedian!
