Time: 10 AM - 3 PM 
Location: "I" Street, between 10th and 12th Streets

Modesto Family Cycling Festival on I Street will transform downtown Modesto into an event like no other. Vendor booths, bicycle helmet giveaways, BMX bike demos, races and other festivities will start at 10 AM.

Also at 10 AM, the Community Bike Ride will be led by the Stanislaus County Bike Club, breaking in the new route from MJC East to West Campus and finishing downtown at the I Street Cycling Festival. For those wanting a shorter ride, the Bike Club will also lead an alternative route from Modesto Junior College East Campus to the Festival.

Bicycle safety and education are emphasized. The festival is hosted by the City of Modesto and participating sponsors, including numerous local businesses and organizations. Hundreds of helmets are fitted by healthcare professionals from local hospitals and given at no charge to local children.

  • Interactive Public Works equipment display
  • Safe Kids Stanislaus Day Safety games & activities
  • BMX Stunt Team will perform at the following times: 10:30 AM, 12 PM & 2 PM

Kids who ride their bikes will enjoy:

  • Participating in bike rides
  • Getting bikes licensed for free
  • Riding on an obstacle course
Family Cycling Criterium Event

The Modesto Downtown Criterium, hosted by Ciccarelli Enterprises, features fast-paced racing throughout downtown Modesto. The Criterium races begin and end on the corner of 13th and I Streets. For information on the Criterium, please contact Ciccarelli Enterprises by email or call 209-605-7315.
