Cultural Diversity Day - October 1st, 2014

On Wednesday October 1st, the City of Modesto and Stanislaus County hosted Cultural Diversity Day 2014. The well attended event featured, live entertainment, informational booths from around the world, food trucks, recycling and raffle prizes. Both City and County dignitaries were on hand to participate in the festivities and present proclamations to community leaders that have championed equality and diversity within our community.

Traffic Alert:

Please be advised that on October 12th, 13th, and 14th the all southbound lanes of State Route 99 will be closed between the hours of 12:00 am to 5:00 am and on October 15th and 16th all of the northbound lanes of State Route 99 will be closed between the hours of 11:00 pm to 4:00 am. Traffic will be taken off the highway on the southbound and northbound off-ramps and directed to the southbound and northbound on-ramps, respectively. This closure is to facilitate the construction of the bridge falsework for the new Pelandale Avenue overcrossing structure. Traffic delays can be expected during these closures.
